Money: Becoming Wealthy And Staying Poor

Why do people love money so much? If I have to ask you the same question, do you love money? Well,, even a child would answer yes. But, is it the money itself you are loving or the freedom and power it holds? What if you are a millionaire and spending your time in prison, do you still love money?

We work to get money, receive royalties and commissions while some go for investment and accrue it on things such as investment and interest. The problem lies not on earning but on how to keep them. Most people spend more than they earn, and this becomes a big difference from becoming a wealthy and staying as a poor.

Spending money wisely is a matter of discipline and this is where most people fall apart. A good way to discipline yourself is to keep a large bill, say $100 and put it in your wallet. The next most important thing is you DO NOT SPEND IT.

This simple technique will put much self-esteem and self-control in you. Try walking with a $300 bill in your wallet and found a lovely dress or shirt you are dying to buy. You know this is your first step towards financial discipline, trying not to give in to compulsive buying habits. Learn to control your money and not otherwise.

Being a poor is simply a matter of what is in and not on our heads. The poorest ones are those people wasting there money on trash and not on their brains.
